Practices
Practice for Alpine Skiing is held
on Tuesday evening, from 6:30 - 7:45 pm. Practices begin on Dec. 4th, and run
thru Feb. 19th at the Ruth Eason School. Attention - the practice on
Tuesday, Dec. 4th is an organizational meeting for both Alpine Skiing and
Snowshoeing, and all should attend.
Practices for Snowshoeing will be on Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30 am,
starting Dec. 8th, running thru Feb. 23rd, at Greenbury Point, near the Navy
Exchange. Snowshoeing
athletes are also welcome to attend the alpine skiing practices at Ruth Eason on
Tuesdays.
Note - the Athletes on snow practice sessions that may be scheduled on Saturdays at Ski Liberty in January and February are recommended, but not mandatory. The Race Training sessions on January 5th and February 9th at Ski Whitetail are strongly recommended. These practice sessions are dependent upon weather and snow conditions, and are subject to change. Athletes should attend as many practices as possible, but must attend the Qualifier at Ski Whitetail on Sunday, 2/24 (part of the SOMD Winter Games) and a minimum of 7 practice sessions in order to go to SOMD Winter Games.

Exit SR 32 from either direction and proceed North on I-97 to Exit 10,
Benfield Blvd.
Turn left (North) onto Veteran's Highway for 1.7 miles.
Turn right (East) onto Old Mill Rd.
The school is on the left, just beyond the shopping center.
Exit SR 100 from either direction and proceed South on I-97 to Exit 12.
Turn left (North) onto Robert Crain Highway (SR-3) for approximately 0.1
miles.
Turn right (South) onto Veteran's Highway for 0.9 miles.
Turn left (East) onto Old Mill Rd.
The school is on the left, just beyond the shopping center.
